UPDATE: New Covid-19 cases increase by 134 in two days in Ugu District

77 people have recovered from the virus in the district.

As of today, Friday, July 3,  KwaZulu-Natal has 11 548 confirmed Covid-19 cases, according to the Department of Health.

Of these, 7 189 are active with 1 037 new cases confirmed today.

Some 162 people have died from the disease.

The recovery rate is 4 197.

The total number of screenings done is 7 438 856  and 128 111 tests have been conducted.
