UPDATE: Covid-19 cases climb to 564 in Ugu District

112 people have recovered from the virus in the district.

As of today, Monday, July 6,  KwaZulu-Natal has 15 146 confirmed Covid-19 cases, according to the Department of Health.

Of these, 10 147 are active with 1 251 new cases confirmed today.

Some 188 people have died from the disease.

The recovery rate is 4 800.

The total number of screenings done is 7 689 972  and 135 406 tests have been conducted.
