UPDATE: Ugu District records more than 1 500 Covid-19 cases

The number of deaths in the district remains at 12.

As of today, Monday, July 20,  KwaZulu-Natal has 43 215 confirmed Covid-19 cases, according to the Department of Health.

Of these, 29 291 are active with 3 128 new cases confirmed today.

Some 430 people have died from the disease in the province.

The recovery rate is 13 494.

The total number of screenings done is  8 864 829 and 173 256 tests have been conducted.
