UPDATE: 1 more death, 1775 confirmed Covid-19 cases in Ugu District

The total number of deaths in the district is now 13.

As of today, Wednesday, July 22,  KwaZulu-Natal has 47 685 confirmed Covid-19 cases, according to the Department of Health.

Of these, 29 140 are active with 2 067 new cases confirmed today.

Some 478 people have died from the disease in the province.

The recovery rate is 18 067.

The total number of screenings done is  8 987 976 and 179 462 tests have been conducted.
