Margate’s Songezo in the running for Mr SA 2020 title
Having already made it into the top 60, Songezo now needs you to vote for him.
A cheerful and optimistic Songezo Mankahla, who hails from Margate, is in the running to become the next Mr South Africa.
The 27-year-old, who holds an analytical chemistry degree from Walter Sisulu University, has made it through to the semi-finals of the competition, where he will compete against other handsome guys for the coveted title of Mr South Africa 2020.
Songezo said although he was currently working as a real estate agent, his passion had always been modelling.

“Having grown up in a rural village in the Eastern Cape with few resources at my disposal, I always dreamed of becoming a better person. I just knew I wanted to soar,” he said.
He was raised by his single mother who he said was his pillar of strength.
Songezo took up modelling as a hobby, not knowing at the time that the bug would well and truly bite.
Having already made it into the top 60, Songezo now needs you to vote for him by SMSing MRSA23 to 40439 (SMSs cost R2 and you may vote as many times as you like).
