UPDATE: 4 more deaths, 2 598 confirmed Covid-19 cases in Ugu District

The total number of deaths in the district now stands at 19, while 962 people have recovered.

As of today, Monday, July 27,  KwaZulu-Natal has 64 061 confirmed Covid-19 cases, according to the Department of Health.

Of these, 39 084 are active with 3 552 new cases confirmed today.

Some 627 people have died from the disease in the province.

The recovery rate is 24 350.

The total number of screenings done is  9 451 493 and 194 785 tests have been conducted.
