A fire that broke out in Oslo Beach earlier this evening was doused pretty quickly by the Ray Nkonyeni Municipality’s fire fighting department.

Smoke was seen billowing in the night sky by residents in the area near Orsta Crescent and Bergen Road.
It was also seen by fireman Senzo Mbambo.
He was there in the truck in no time, blasting water into the grassy area and putting out the fire.
There was no one harmed at all, however the fire was licking at the walls of a nearby property, and could have done some damage had it gotten out of control.
