UPDATE: Confirmed Covid-19 cases climb to 2 767 in Ugu District

Some 1 114 people have recovered from the virus in the district.

As of today, Wednesday, July 29,  KwaZulu-Natal has 68 101 confirmed Covid-19 cases, according to the Department of Health.

Of these, 34 906 are active with 2 114 new cases confirmed today.

Some 712 people have died from the disease in the province.

The recovery rate is 32 483.

The total number of screenings done is 9 554 632 and 199 138 tests have been conducted.
