Man shot in Qinabout home

A 28-year-old man was shot several times at his home in Qinabout, Gamalakhe on Tuesday last week.

The gunman kicked down the door to the man’s room before opening fire.

The man was able to contact a neighbour, who called the police. According to police spokesman, Sergeant Sibu Ncane the man suffered a number of bullet wounds and was taken to hospital.

No arrests have been made. An attempted murder case has been opened for investigation.
