UPDATE: Confirmed Covid-19 cases now stand at 3 973 in Ugu District

Some 2 058 people have recovered from the virus in the district.

As of today, Monday, August 10, KwaZulu-Natal has 98 607 confirmed Covid-19 cases, according to the Department of Health.

Of these, 41 492 are active with 2 419 new cases confirmed today.

Some 1 420 people have died from the disease in the province.

The recovery rate is 55 155.

The total number of screenings done is 10 454 259 and 221 017 tests have been conducted.
