UPDATE: Confirmed Covid-19 cases now stand at 4 174 in Ugu District

Some 3 283 people have recovered from the virus in the district.

As of today, Friday, August 14, KwaZulu-Natal has 102 233 confirmed Covid-19 cases, according to the Department of Health.

Of these, 23 369 are active with 734 new cases confirmed today.

Some 1 618 people have died from the disease in the province.

The recovery rate is 77 301.

The total number of screenings done is 10 733 112 and  226 710 tests have been conducted.
