Take note: Steps to follow to collect your R350 Covid-19 relief grant at the Post Office
Beneficiaries will receive two SMS messages, the first to inform you if your application was approved or declined and the second to let you know that you can collect your money.

The Post Office says many customers go to its branches before their R350 Covid-19 relief grant is ready to be collected.
If you applied for the R350 grant, you will receive two SMS messages.
The first SMS will let you know if your application was approved or declined. The second SMS will ask you to go to a Post Office to collect your R350 because the money is ready to be collected.

The Post Office says nobody should go to any of its branches before they have received the second SMS.
It is easy to find out about the progress of your R350 grant by visiting the website
If you applied via WhatsApp, you WhatsApp the word status to 082 046 8553 and follow the prompts until you get the status of your application.
If your application was declined and you are convinced that you do qualify, you can forward your request for reconsideration, together with the reasons why you feel an incorrect decision was made, via email to covid19srdappeals@sassa.gov.za.
When you send an email, remember to give your ID number. Please do not attach any documents.
Postbank has already opened more than 3.4 million accounts for citizens to receive the R350 Covid-19 relief grant.
Beneficiaries should not collect their R350 during the first week of each month from August to October as that time has been set aside to pay out old age, disability and child grants.
