UPDATE: Ugu District records 82 Covid-19 deaths

Some 3 283 people have recovered from the virus in the district.

As of today, Monday, August 17, KwaZulu-Natal has 105 383 confirmed Covid-19 cases, according to the Department of Health.

Of these, 23 741 are active with 764 new cases confirmed today.

Some 1 687 people have died from the disease in the province.

The recovery rate is 79 955.
