UPDATE: Ugu District records 4 464 Covid-19 cases

The recovery rate stands at 3 746 in the district.

As of today, Monday, August 24, KwaZulu-Natal has 109 841 confirmed Covid-19 cases, according to the Department of Health.

Of these, 15 537 are active with 508 new cases confirmed today.

Some 1 962 people have died from the disease in the province.

The recovery rate is 92 342

The total number of people screened is 11 529 879 and the total tests conducted are  240 876.
