UPDATE: 2 more deaths, 4 483 confirmed Covid-19 cases in Ugu District

Overall, the district has recorded 84 deaths and 3 776 recoveries.

As of today, Wednesday, August 26, KwaZulu-Natal has 110 521 confirmed Covid-19 cases, according to the Department of Health.

Of these, 14 652 are active with 417 new cases confirmed today.

Some 2 055 people have died from the disease in the province.

The recovery rate is 93 814

The total number of people screened is 11 668 871 and the total tests conducted are  242 993.
