5 injured as bakkie overturns in Margate

Paramedics reported that injuries ranged from minor to serious. 

This afternoon (Saturday, August 29) Kwazulu Private Ambulance Service responded to an accident on the corner of Tedder Avenue and Shepstone Road, Margate.

Emergency services found that the driver of a bakkie loaded with timber had lost control of the vehicle, which then overturned.

Paramedics reported that five people suffered injuries which ranged from minor to serious.

They were treated on scene before being transported to hospital.
