UPDATE: 4 686 confirmed Covid-19 cases recorded in Ugu District

Some 3 881 people have recovered from the disease in the district.

As of today, Monday, August 31, KwaZulu-Natal has 112 726 confirmed Covid-19 cases, according to the Department of Health.

Of these, 14 594 are active with 435 new cases confirmed today.

Some 2 139 people have died from the disease in the province.

The recovery rate is 95 993.

The total number of people screened is 12 178 529 and the total tests conducted are 249 098.
