Scottburgh Lions elect new president

Malcolm Caine has been a Lion for more than 20 years and has served as president four times.

Malcolm Caine has been elected as Scottburgh Lions Club’s new president.

Malcolm has been a Lion for more than 20 years and has served as president four times.

He joined the Scottburgh Lions Club from the Edenvale Lions Club three years ago and has been a very active member.

“Our club has suffered immensely, as have other clubs due to the pandemic lockdown as we have had to cancel all fundraising events this year,” said Lion Wendy Barwell.

“We have done what we could by giving out food and blankets during the past several months, and are looking forward to doing more for the community now that lockdown restrictions have been eased.”
