UPDATE: Confirmed Covid-19 cases stand at 4 705 in Ugu District

The recovery rate is 3 904 in the district.

As of today, Wednesday, September 2, KwaZulu-Natal has 113 237 confirmed Covid-19 cases, according to the Department of Health.

Of these, 10 468 are active with 231 new cases confirmed today.

Some 2 164 people have died from the disease in the province.

The recovery rate is 100 605.

The total number of people screened is 12 308 181 and the total tests conducted are 251 112.
