11 injured in Umzumbe crash

Injuries ranged from minor to serious, said paramedics.

Eleven people were injured in an accident on the N2 at Umzumbe earlier today (Friday, September 4).

According to Craig Botha, spokesman for Kwazulu Private Ambulance Service, the driver had lost control of the vehicle which then overturned.

“Injuries ranged from minor to serious,” he said.

The patients were treated at the scene before being transported to hospital.
