UPDATE: Ugu District records 4 733 Covid-19 cases

The recovery rate now stands at 3 929 in the district.

As of today, Friday, September 4, KwaZulu-Natal has 114 034 confirmed Covid-19 cases, according to the Department of Health.

Of these, 10 784 are active with 372 new cases confirmed today.

Some 2 218 people have died from the disease in the province.

The recovery rate is 101 034.

The total number of people screened is 12 510 778 and the total tests conducted are 253 594.
