UPDATE: Confirmed Covid-19 cases now stand at 4 752 in Ugu District

The recovery rate is 3 973 in the district.

As of today, Monday, September 7, KwaZulu-Natal has 114 824 confirmed Covid-19 cases, according to the Department of Health.

Of these, 10 187 are active with 177 new cases confirmed today.

Some 2 319 people have died from the disease in the province.

The recovery rate is 102 318.

The total number of people screened is 12 727 404 and the total tests conducted are 256 825.
