Another success for Hawks

The culprit was found with explosives, detonators, live rounds of ammunition and drugs

Xolani Mteshana (47) was found guilty in the Port Shepstone Regional Court of being in possession of explosives and sentenced to 14 years’ imprisonment.

Mteshana was found with explosives, detonators, live rounds of ammunition and drugs in the Murchison area on February 17, 2019 after Hawks members from Port Shepstone Serious Organised Crime unit received a tip-off.

Investigations revealed he had in 2013 received a five-year sentence for the possession of explosives.
