Fisherman collapses and dies at Scottburgh beach

He was at the beach with his brother.

Scottburgh Saps have confirmed the death of a fisherman at Scottburgh beach on Thursday last week.

“The man’s brother said that at one stage he noticed him sitting down, and a few moments later he just collapsed,” said Scottburgh Saps communications officer, Captain Adam Francis.

The man was certified dead on the beach by paramedics.
