Bizana XI outgun Trophy Fighters for Desai Cup
There was some exciting cricket all round.
The Desai Premier League Cup 2026 (Part 3) took place at the Port Shepstone borough ground on September 27
The format was 15 overs or 75-ball, which made for fast, exciting cricket.
In the final, Bizana XI triumphed against Trophy Fighters in a hard-fought game.
Bizana batted first and made 132-4 in 15 overs, with Altaaf Hussain top-scoring with 45* (19). He hit five fours and three sixes.
Umer Farooq made 37 (27) and Abdur Rehman Gujjar 27 (15).
Abdullah Dhudhat took 2-18 and Uzair Patel 1-33.
In response, Trophy Fighters could only manage 87 all out.

Abdullah Dhudhat made 19 (9), Yasin Gangat 14 (11) and Azaam Sehry 13 (12).
Altaaf Hussain had a phenomenal spell with the ball, taking 4-7, with support from Umer Farood (3-17) and Umar Hayat (2-17).
Before all this, Bizana beat Knockouts by 40 runs in the semi-final.
Bizana made 125 all out in 15 overs, with Abdur Rehman Gujjar making 39* (26).
Shahid Gujjar made 30 (22) and Altaaf Hussain 17 (5).
For Knockouts, pick of the bowlers were Altaf (3-19), Talha Hafezi (2-19) and Farook (2-36).
In reply, Knockouts could only manage 85-6 when overs were up.
Talha Hafezi made 22 (21) and Hamza 15 (13). Rana Azhar bowled well for 2-14.
Umar Hayat took 1-6 and Muhammad Tayyab 1-10.
Bizana’s squad on the day comprised Umar Hayat, Shahid Gujjar, Muzamil Joy, Rizwan Bhula, Tariq Hussain, Abdul Rehman, Sheraz Tiwana, Sardar Satya, Mian Tayyab, Umar Farooq, Rana Azhar, Imran Rokhri, Altaf Hussain, Minhas Ayoub and Fahad Patel.
