Suspect nabbed with stolen goods

The case was remanded to September 30 for a bail application and identification of the property, some of which was linked to a house robbery in the Southport area.

An operation by Southport detectives resulted in the arrest of a 61-year-old man at Kwa-Madlala location.

A search of the premises was conducted and property which is presumed to have been stolen was recovered.

According to Port Shepstone police spokesman, Captain Petros Mpinge, the suspect appeared in the Port Shepstone Magistrate’s Court.
