LAST CHANCE TO VOTE: Best of South Coast is back…and you can still win your share of R10 000

Voting closes at 5pm today, Monday, November 2.

It is once again time to reward the leading businesses on the South Coast, those which stand out from the crowd, delivering excellence in their fields despite the enormous challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic.

This year, the process has changed. As the nomination round has fallen away, you can vote for any business in any category by typing the full name of the company in the area provided. Remember, you DO NOT HAVE to vote in all categories.

Due to popular demand, the voting period has been extended. Either fill in the entry form in this week’s South Coast Herald, or vote voting online before 5pm on MONDAY, NOVEMBER 2.

And just by casting your vote, you can stand in line to win your share of R10 000 – 1 x R5 000 and 2 x R2 500 – in the lucky draw.

Only one vote per reader is allowed, and duplicate entries will be disqualified.

All winners will be announced in the special Best of the South Coast winners’ supplement which will be published in the South Coast Herald on November 26.

To ensure transparency, votes will be tallied by independent auditors, Chantel Elliott and Co.

  • Terms and conditions
  • Only one original print entry per reader
  • Businesses nominated must fall within the South Coast Herald footprint, ie the Lower South Coast of KZN
  • Readers must provide their name, address and phone number
  • Caxton employees and their immediate families may complete the ballot forms, but are not eligible to win the readers’ prizes
  • The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into
  • The lucky draw will be randomised, and the first person’s name drawn will win the R5000 prize, while the second and third each win R2500. Winners must be prepared to have their photos taken and published in the Herald.
