One dead in two-vehicle collision on N2

One person died and two others sustained serious injuries in a two-vehicle collision on the N2 in the Southport area this afternoon.

Emergency services assessed the scene and found that one person had sustained critical injuries.

The patient’s condition deteriorated and paramedics started resuscitation efforts. However, despite all efforts, the patient was declared dead at the scene.

The injured patients were stabilised and taken to hospital.
