Entrepreneurs shine at Griffendore Primary Market Day

It challenged students to develop marketing strategies, set competitive prices, and sell products.

Griffendore Primary School’s Grade 7 learners showcased their business acumen during their annual Economic and Management Sciences (EMS) Market Day before the term ended.

The practical assessment task challenged students to develop marketing strategies, set competitive prices, and sell products directly to peers and staff.

Operating diverse stalls featuring food, games and crafts, learners managed real budgets and cash transactions. Deputy principal Shikar Ramsunder Bechoo assessed each team on presentation, communication, financial tracking, and operational efficiency.

The event successfully combined classroom theory with real-world trading, equipping Grade 7s with vital financial literacy and entrepreneurial skills.
