One dead in Ifafa crash

A man was killed in a collision involving a bakkie and a flat-bed towing vehicle on the N2 southbound at Ifafa on Monday this week, at around 1am.

According to Netcare 911 medics, the man was the only occupant in the bakkie.

“Medics found that he had sustained fatal injuries. He was declared deceased on the scene,” said spokesman Shawn Herbst.

The accident is being investigated by Saps.
