Dusi Canoe Marathon postponed to mid March

It is now scheduled to be held from March 18 to 20 this year.

Due to the outbreak of Covid-19 cases in KwaZulu-Natal and around the country, organisers of the MyLife Dusi Canoe Marathon and representatives from Canoeing South Africa (CSA) have decided to postpone the race by a month.

It is now scheduled to be held from March 18 to 20 this year.

“With the current regulations in place and the current situation with regards to Covid-19 in the province, we have to postpone the race,” said race organiser, Shane Le Breton.

Kim Pople, president of Canoeing South Africa Kim, believes the postponement is the best option and that they have calculated correctly.

“Getting the dates out now will help competitors work out their training, as well as all the other issues that come with racing.”
