Sarel doesn't only rescue black and green mambas but pythons, too.

The Southern African python is protected and may not be captured or killed.

As such, Sarel was particularly careful when performing the capture.

The huge snake wrapped itself around his leg and neck, but it was nothing Sarel couldn’t handle, even if dealing with such a heavy snake in the middle of summer can cause even the coolest character to break out in a sweat.

The python has been known to reach a length of 5.5 metres and weigh around 65kg.
