Anonymous donor takes Lions by surprise
The recent quiz evening was won by Maryna and Jimmy Emslie, Rob Henry and Vernon Maddison.
The Ramsgate Lions‘ food collection last Saturday was reasonably well supported, with a total of R5 400 worth of goods coming in.
This was boosted by one kind gentleman, who wished to remain nameless, who donated a trolley-load of goods worth about R2000.
The food parcels were delivered to those in need the following day.

The raffle winner was Maryna Emslie.

March 6: South Coast Car Boot and Crafters Market at the Ramsgate Lions Community Centre on Glenmarkie Drive from 8am to 1pm.
March 12: Fundraiser for Joan Robins Cancer Relief Fund. at the Ramsgate Lions Community Centre from 6pm until late.
All Joan’s friends and family are cordially invited to the function. Raffles and other events will be held to raise money for the fund.
