Lions awarded for long service
The Lions also thanked the residents of Scottburgh and Widenham for their generous donations at the Collect-a-Can drive.
Lions zone chairman, Colin Mackintosh recently handed out long service award certificates to three outstanding members of the Lions Club of Scottburgh.
Lions Bernie Orth (30 years), Errol Herbst (20) and Maryann Nielsen (15) were all acknowledged for their years of stellar service and commitment.
The Lions also thanked the residents of Scottburgh and Widenham for their generous donations at the Collect-a-Can drive.
The club received food, clothes and toys and with these items made up grocery hampers for the elderly and hungry, and donated clothes and toys to the needy.
