Family held up at gunpoint, robbed
Southport police are investigating a case of house robbery.
A family was robbed at gunpoint in Ocean View Road in Sea Park on Monday this week at about 1pm.
Police spokesman Captain Petros Mpinge said it’s alleged that two unknown men jumped over the wall and forced a domestic worker to open the gate.
“They drove in and forced two family members and a domestic worker to lie on the floor after tying them up,” he said.
Some of the property taken included a TV, cellphones and jewelry, after which the men fled in an unknown vehicle.
