One million reasons to give
The organisation seeks to create awareness of its movement and goals within the various communities it is involved with and from these awareness events Move ONE Million is able to identify critical needs.
Move ONE Million Amanzimtoti recently made the journey to the South Coast to visit Hope House in Uvongo and Tent City near Marina Beach.
Both organisations provide shelter, food and hope on their facilities to those who have lost their jobs, homes and sometimes even their ability to feed themselves and their families.
“We were inspired to assist Hope House and Tent City by a call for help from two of our members who became aware of these incredible organisations via charity networks. We will continue to support them with drives to provide household items, clothing and food,” said Sharon Purchase of Move ONE Million.
In collaboration with Upper Highway and Bluff groups, Move ONE Million Amanzimtoti undertook a donations drive for household goods, clothing and food and helped collect a further three bakkie loads of goods which were split between the two organisations.

“Projects are then launched within our membership base to assist in terms of the needs identified. We are not bound to any specific service.”
