Eskom in KZN alerts customers of further service delays due to ongoing protest action

Eskom in KwaZulu-Natal alerts customers of further service delays in areas affected by the ongoing protest action.

From the risk assessments conducted by its teams, all indications are that most areas are still inaccessible due to the protests. Eskom values its employees and contracting partners’ safety. As a precaution, Eskom will therefore not deploy technicians until their safety is guaranteed.

Customers who have logged faults are requested to be patient as they may experience delays in response time to resolve their faults. Eskom teams will continue to do the necessary risk assessment before dispatching technicians.

The power utility will attend to the faults once there is calm and it is safe to travel and it apologised for the inconveniences caused.
