UPDATE: Eskom KwaZulu-Natal’s service to customers affected by protest action

Due to the cumulative number of faults, as well as the risks that may still prevail, technicians may take time to reach all customers.

Eskom KwaZulu-Natal’s service to customers is still affected by the protest action that ensued in the past few days.

Accessibility to some areas has improved, enabling more Eskom teams to attend to faults. However, due to the cumulative number of faults, as well as the risks that may still prevail, technicians may take time to reach all customers.

“We request customers who have logged faults to be patient as they may still experience delays in response time to resolve their faults,” said an Eskom spokesperson.

“Our teams will continue to do the necessary risk assessment before dispatching technicians. Please bear with us. We will attend to all faults as access improves and risks decrease.”

The power utility apologises for all inconveniences caused.
