Two killed, one injured as gunmen open fire in suspected hit
Shots were fired at the victims' vehicle as they travelled along a gravel road.

Two men were killed and a third injured after unknown gunmen opened fire on them in Umzumbe on Monday this week.
According to provincial police spokesperson, Colonel Thembeka Mbele, charges of murder and attempted murder were opened for investigation by Southport Saps.
“It is alleged that four men were travelling along the gravel road next to the Umzumbe river when the unknown men emerged from the bushes and fired several shots at their vehicle,” she added.
Two men, aged 37 and 60, succumbed to their injuries and were declared dead at the scene.
A third man sustained a gunshot wound to the leg and a fourth escaped unharmed. The matter is still under investigation.
