Bowlers wished well for veterans singles
Len Brickhill, Fred Hutchins, Mike Mordaunt and Liesje de Rosner won their sections in the KBA Veterans singles.
Congratulations to Len Brickhill, Fred Hutchins, Mike Mordaunt and Liesje de Rosner for winning their sections in the KBA Veterans singles.
The play-offs for the men took place last Sunday.
Fred won his game and will take part in the semi-finals at The Bell this Sunday.
Liesje is also through to the semi-finals of the women’s section.
Congratulations to Pierre and Marietjie van Wyk, assisted by Cecil Smith, for winning the monthly Hibiscus Brokers mixed trips on August 17.
Runners-up were Liesje de Rosner, Fred Hutchins and Helen Turk.
The second session prize went to the Sezela team of Jerry Davey, Gay Symonds and Alf Toy.
