Buy a blossom, help strays
All funds will go towards 4 Paws and a Tale which is a non-profitable organisation.
Local animal rescue organisation 4 Paws and a Tale, is partnering up with Scottburgh Mall for a Spring fundraiser from September 1 to 7.
Mall shoppers will be given an opportunity to purchase a blossom for R20 which will then be placed on the mall’s Spring Tree of Love. Donations are also welcome. All funds will go towards 4 Paws and a Tale which is a non-profitable organisation.
Scottburgh Mall has decided to do its share by matching the contribution total.
Nicky Koekemoer, founder of the animal rescue, thanks the mall for committing to help the NPO.
“We are so grateful to Scottburgh Mall for this incredibly generous contribution that will go towards our ongoing efforts to care for and feed more than 200 stray dogs around the KZN South Coast,” she said. “With Covid-19 and the recent civil unrest impacting our fundraising efforts, the Spring Tree of Love is really a tree of hope for us and the many vulnerable animals we assist.”
Blossoms can be bought between 09:00 to 17:00 on Monday to Friday, and 09:00 to 13:00 on Saturday and Sunday this week.
