OPINION: Fighting for life during pandemic

A poem about staying safe during the pandemic.

DEAR Editor;

I have lost people long before this virus took over our life.

Oh, how I have loved and lost!

But I am still standing and will keep on fighting for life and what’s important to me.

Indoors, outdoors as long as it keeps me safe I will wear my mask. So, respect me when I say no, sorry please wear yours as I’m doing it to keep you safe as well.

I have people who love me and I am sure you have them in your life, too.

Even if your days seem dark and lonely, remember I care.

Clear your mind and remember the good times.

Don’t judge me, I am only thinking of you.
