Genesis gifts schools with indigenous trees

The first week of September is traditionally the time during in which Arbor week is celebrated.

Genesis Hope SA found joy in honouring the occasion by visiting surrounding schools and dropping off the gift of an indigenous tree.

They hope that this symbol will be a reminder to educators as to just how valuable they are to our society, how life-changing and long-lasting their impact is.

Southcity learners wasted no time in getting their spades out and chose the perfect spot in which to plant their tree.
