Look out for the Diwali feature in this week’s Herald

It is packed with wishes from advertisers and religious organisations in the community.

Diwali, also known as the festival of lights, is a joyous occasion celebrated by Hindus around the world.

This year the festival will be celebrated on Thursday, November 4.

Buy a copy of this week’s Herald and browse the Diwali feature from pages 23 to 29.

It is jam packed with wishes from advertisers, as well as messages from the various religious organisations on the South Coast.

What is the proper greeting for Diwali?

A ‘happy Diwali’ will suffice, but there are other Diwali wishes you can say to anyone celebrating the festival.

A traditional Diwali greeting is to say ‘wishing you a Diwali that brings happiness prosperity and joy to you and all your family. ‘
