Truck driver shot and killed

Circumstances surrounding the shooting are unknown at this stage as police investigations continue.

A sugarcane truck driver (47) was shot in his vehicle while parked in Sezela last Sunday (October 24).

Scottburgh Saps members responded to a complaint of gunshots and found the driver fatally wounded.

“The driver succumbed to his injuries at the scene,” said Scottburgh Saps communications officer, Captain Adam Francis.

Circumstances surrounding the shooting are unknown at this stage as police investigations continue.
