Community urged to vaccinate against flu
If you have received the Covid-19 vaccine, wait 14 days before taking the flu vaccine.

Port Shepstone Regional Hospital urges the community to take the flu vaccine.
“The vaccine gives extra protection against lung infections. When administered during pregnancy, the vaccine helps to protect the mother, and baby from birth to almost six months of age. Flu vaccines can be taken by all citizens from the age of six months,” said hospital PRO, Phumza Morai.

It is available at Port Shepstone Regional Hospital and at all referral clinics. There is no need to make an appointment or collect a file.
The vaccines are available at the following clinics: Gateway Clinic Port Shepstone, Madlala Clinic, Nhlalwane Clinic, Ntimbankulu Clinic, Port Shepstone Clinic, Phungashe Clinic, Port Shepstone Regional Hospital mobile clinic, Southport Clinic, St Faith’s Clinic, Umtentweni Clinic, Assisi Clinic (24-hours) and Marburg Clinic (24-hours).
With the exception of Marburg and Assisi clinics, the operating hours are from 8:00 to 16:00.
