Awareness around reserve

Join botany enthusiast, Dorothy McIntyre for a short botany walk at 10:30.

Umtamvuna Nature Reserve is hosting an Awareness Day on December 4 from 09:00 to 14:00.

There will be talks, walks, activities and information tables.p

Join botany enthusiast, Dorothy McIntyre for a short botany walk at 10:30.

Debbie King will present a talk on shells and fossil rocks at 10:00 which will be followed by a scavenger hunt at 11:00.

Craig Hosken will lead the strenuous 8km Nkonka trail hike starting at 9:15.
Simon Hicks will talk about bees at noon.

Learn all abut the red dessert nature reserve with Matt Williams at 12:30.
Hamburgers, wors rolls and refreshments on sale.

To find the reserve – take the R61 towards Port Edward and follow the Izingolweni Road for 8.1km.
