Armed robbers thwarted by brave fightback
Police reports indicate that the men demanded cash from them, but they surprised the robbers and chose to fight back.
An armed robbery outside Scottburgh Mall was foiled when two targeted victims fought back against the men who tried to rob them last week Tuesday at 11:00.
The ‘victims’ were in the mall parking lot when they were approached by three unknown men, armed with firearms.
Police reports indicate that the men demanded cash from them, but they surprised the robbers and chose to fight back.
Shots were then fired at the victims before the perpetrators fled the scene in their getaway vehicle.
Fortunately, no one was injured.
