One person was killed in a multi-vehicle pile up in Park Rynie.

Police are investigating a case of culpable homicide after a five vehicle pile-up resulted in one fatality last Wednesday.

The accident occurred on the R102 in Park Rynie around 17:30.

Law enforcement at the accident scene.

Scottburgh Saps were dispatched to the scene along with other security and emergency services, and a 30-year-old driver was declared dead at the scene.

The case is being investigated by Detective Warrant Officer Solomie Pillay of Scottburgh detective service.
