South Coast temples will observe Shree Krishna Janmashtami, an annual Hindu festival that celebrates the birth of Lord Krishna.

* The Shree Hanuman Sanathan Dharma Sabha Mandir in Lower Albersville will observe the celebration today (Thursday), from 18:00 until midnight. The programme includes an invocation prayer, recitals from the Bhagavad Gita, discourses, bhajans and hawan. * The Shree Raam Narayan Temple in Dairy Road, Marburg invites all to its celebration this Friday (4th) at 18:30. The programme includes a prayer, welcoming of baby Krishna, hawan, aarti and bhajans. Saroop and Shavina will sing bhajans. For more details, contact Rocky Singh on 072-179-2947.

Sugan has been with Caxton for close to three decades, having started as a weekend photographer, straight out of school.
